the mattress in my poptop campervan is about 50mm thick and not quite comfortable enough to sleep nicely on, but if I use a much thicker one the top wont close completely, so this mattress is ideal, I can leave it under the existing mattress deflated and as soon as I raise the pop top I can inflate it and with it inflated and the original one on top it is very comfortable.
