Where It All Began

Gobi Heat® founder Jaye Genung believed that being cold was hardwired into her DNA: “My eyes are blue, and I’m always cold.” As a woman who was constantly cold, shying away from outdoor winter activities became a regular occurrence. She was tired of missing out on family activities because of her dread of the winter weather and decided to make a change. After trying other brands of heated clothing available at the time, she knew that both the design and the performance could be greatly improved upon. With a diverse array of light weight and unobtrusive designs, continual evolution and a supportive team, Gobi Heat®  has built itself to be one of the industry’s leading heated apparel companies in the game.
