well ok not quite what they say on the tin, they aint made out of rocks, but they sure are tough steel, got these to replace my Vango "V" pegs which bend like crazy. these DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant say more than that.
These pegs are far superior to the standards ones, i am yet to have one unable to do the job. These will go in just about every surface and the little crossbar is ideal for hold guy lines
These look like they are for really serious hard ground as they are effectively long nails (23 cm). I don't expect them to hold in anything less (but I've not tried yet!)
always had trouble with plastic pegs bending when hitting stone so these are the answer
