I bought these lights for my tent which we often use at campsites without a hook up I chose these specifically because they are USB compatible and I can use them with a usb power bank it does run it down fairly quickly but we only really use them when getting into bed with the occasional longer use. Performance wise they are great bright but filtered so you are not blinded and the dimmer function is really useful, the quality is as you would expect from outwell and it packs down nice and small the only thing it could of benefitted from is a carry bag but I found one at home. Overall this is a great product I can highly recommended
Volume of light is not great (you couldn't read by it for any length of time), the dimmer is pretty basic and doesn't have very much range or fine control. The adapter plug has a cheap feel. It does look pretty when lit, but is not a good lamp equivalent. It doesn't stick to anything so you will need ties to fit it (it does come with a single karabiner). There is no storage bag.
