This is sturdier than the "bucket w/ lid" type toilet, but simpler than ones w/ cartridges or water. I used bags and kitty litter and it was great for a festival weekend. I like that the bucket itself is small and has handle & lid, making it easy to carry to trash area for dumping and cleaning. Great price, too!
This is a fabulous piece of camping equipment. Couldn't be happier with its functionality and convenience.
The only problem I have is the name "Kamping Khazi" as I feel it degrades the whole serenity of having a portaloo in the tent.. I prefer to refer to mine as LuLu which I feel is far more befitting to this terrific little life saver

Very handy, well designed portable loo. My husband laughed when I bought it for our recent camping trip but he actually used it more than me. I thought I would be embarrassed taking it to the toilet block to empty each morning (wees only!) but the small bucket with handle is easy to carry & quite discreet. Wouldn't want to be without it now we've got it, Easy to clean. Highly recommend. First class service from camping world too.
Very pleased with my Kampa Khazi. I bought it for a camping trip in a field with lots of family and friends and only 2 portaloos (which were at the bottom of the field) so I felt very smug that I had my own solution. The khazi is comfortable and feels stable, and I even got the toilet roll handle although I didn't use it.
I took up some ideas from other reviewers and put a bin liner in the bucket and added some cat litter. This worked very well and it was easy to pull out the bag and dispose of the waste that way.
While it's great and convenient for ladies, we did find that it was cleaner if men got a bit closer to the bucket...
