Dometic Rarotonga FTT 601 TC Air Tent Package Deal 2023 From  £2394.99

Having taken this tent out on 2 separate trips now (16 nights in total) I’ve spent enough time in it to feedback it’s good & bad points.
Plus points: Easy to pitch & easy to pack up (always managed to get it back in the bag first time).
Spacious - bags of room & the vertical sides create so much more space)
Quality - everything has been very well made & designed, the stitching, the zips, the blinds all very well thought out
Rain/wind - not a leak in sight & we had a few nights of very heavy rain, the main tent held up very well.

Negative points: bedrooms - unfortunately the bedroom pods & rear wall of the tent have nothing there to prevent the tent rear wall from blowing into the bedroom pods during high winds, if your head is at the rear of the bedroom you end up getting suffocated with the bedroom pod blowing into your head, no amount of re- pitching prevented this.
Pitching- you have to be spot on with pitching & pegging out, we found if you overstretch from side to side then the main door becomes stiff to zip shut even if you had it shut during pitching, you must leave a little slack but not too much otherwise water pools on the roof.

All in all a great tent & if Dometic sorted the bedroom pod issue it’d be an amazing tent!
