Welcome to an exciting new era in tent bedroom design. The award-winning Scandinavian innovative family camping brand, Outwell®, has created a super size Master Bedroom that improves the camping experience by offering much needed extra space for mobility and storage to increase comfort levels.

For years, campers have complained that the minimum tent bedroom size of 200cm long x 60cm wide as laid down by the official standard DIN 112-02-01 AA was just too small. While Outwell complied with the standard to assist campers compare products, the brand also acknowledged that more space in the bedroom was needed and suggested, through its Outwell Sleep Comfort icon, a realistic number of campers an inner could accommodate based on 70cm-80cm per person.

As part of ongoing evolution the Outwell Research and Development department has continued to canvas campers’ opinions in this area and 2016 sees Outwell set a new standard in comfort and practicality by launching the Master Bedroom (pictured left) in its popular Smart Air Polyester and Air Comfort inflatable family tent collections.

Outwell has redesigned the bedroom using a sharply sloping back to increase valuable standing height throughout. And the depth has been extended from the Outwell standard 215cm to 250cm to provide much needed space at the foot and head of the bed. All make dressing easier and allow the use of handy furniture like bedside tables and wardrobes.

Outwell has combined these features with its proven Universal Inner for the ultimate balance of sleeping and living space. The ability for a camper to control their environmental space to suit needs has never been so flexible and the new Master Bedroom redefines expectations for practical space and comfort.

The Master Bedroom also features the Outwell Night Sky Ceiling to dim ambient light levels for optimum rest. And the Outwell Smart Air Polyester Collection also benefits from a new bedroom window system. Wide windows (pictured right) in both inner and outer provide views out from the bedroom and extra light in when desired.

Campers now have the space to use bedroom furniture, like Outwell bedside tables, wardrobes and camp beds. And it has allowed Outwell to introduce new luxury products, like its Flock Superior airbed range that increases comfort by lifting the camper further off the ground for easier access to the bed and better insulation.
