
Cleaning your Hot Tub
A Hot tub is an extremely sought after garden accessory to most, are you looking to entertain? Or just to relax? They can do both. However, they need regular cleaning and maintenance to keep it in clean, working condition.
If you’re not familiar with how to clean your hot tub properly, then you may find yourself providing the ideal scenario for bacteria to grow. In an effort to ensure you can keep your hot tub in use, we have decided to gather and present the ideal way to maintain and clean your hot tub.
Step One: Sanitization.
Effective cleaning and maintenance requires a thorough cleaning at least once a week whilst being used on a regular basis. Making sure to kill off any bacteria that may build up during the week. You should also be sure to clean down and sanitise your hot tub before storing it.

Step Two: PH Checking.
You need to be sure that the PH level of your hot tub is between 7.0 and 7.8. If your PH levels are too low the water will become acidic, if your PH levels are too high then the water will become alkaline. This can cause harm to your hot tub as well as the user.

Step Three: Changing the filters.
The filters are a main feature for removing dirt and grime from the water and prevent things from getting into the pump or heater. If this happens, the overall lifespan of your hot tub will be considerably lower over time. The pump is constantly cleaning and filtering the water when in use and can, if you fail to clean, can result in the filters becoming clogged and filthy which will cause issues with the motor and could break if overstressed.
