Zempire Camping Equipment has been developing premium camping products since 2006. Originally based in Christchurch, Zempire is now located in Hamilton, New Zealand. Starting out as a small team of outdoor enthusiasts thinking of new innovative camping ideas. The brand has now grown to be one of the most trusted camping brands in the country and across the world. Zempire Camping products can now be found in many countries around the world from the UK, Eurpope, Asia, USA and all across the South Pacific.

2007 - Unveiled the "Grand" as the first canvas tent in the market to feature twin layer mesh vented roof
- Expanded the product range to include camping "Furniture and Accessories"
2008 - Unveiled the "Airflow" series as the first dome tent to feature a fully ventilated roof system
- Moved corporate Head Office to Hamilton, New Zealand
2009 - Unveiled the "iNVERT" series as the first dome tents to feature an inverted internal door to create extra internal space
2011 - United Kingdom distribution established under the "Zempire Camping Equipment" brand
- Korean distribution established under the "Zempire Camping Equipment" brand
2012 - Unveiled the "C4" as the first dome tent with fully sealed and waterproof removable rooms and awnings
- Taiwan distribution established under the "Zempire Camping Equipment" brand
2014 - Rebranded to "Zempire Camping Equipment" to aid expansion of international markets
- Unveiled the "Aerodome" series as the first TPU inflatable family dome tents in the New Zealand Market
