Have been camping a few times now using a Sunn Camp Residence 6 - Just put it this way, you could fit the Residence 6 in the Ohio XL. This tent is massive. Pitching can be a bit tricky, but three people managed to pitch it in about 45 mins. Could be done with two, but they would have to be strong. The combination of flysheet and steel poles was quite heavy. Found that the picthing instructions differed to the pitching video on the Outwell website. The video for us proved to be the better option. The living area is excellent and the bedrooms being down the side of the tent rather than the back was great as it meant we could leave the tent door open and people couldn't look into the sleeping area. We bought the fitted carpet and we would recommend that to anyone. it provided that little extra bit of warmth and luxury. The largest bedroom was enough for a King Size airbed and there was still some room left down the size. We spent 10 days in Thetford Forest and the first few day were very windy (bordering on Gale Force). The tent stood up really well, only having one peg come loose. Although the tent moved quite a lot in the wind, it never really felt like it was going to go anywhere. The only thing we would recommend is that you replace the plastic pegs (which were useless on hard ground) and get some good metal pegs. We used rock pegs in the end. The initial outlay of nearly £900 for tent, groundsheet and carpet does seem a lot, but this tents quality is outstanding. I've never experienced tent envy before, but we did attract quite alot of attention. One word of warning, the poles and flysheet when put away are about 30Kgs each, so you need to be pretty strong to put them in car/trailer. Overall this tent is awesome, built to a very high quality.
