It's a "no brainer" - Just buy one! Great tent for overnight / weekend. The first night out, ours withstood torrential rain (it was so heavy it sounded like somebody was throwing acorns at us!) without a drop of water entering the tent. It's stable in a good wind too. However, when it's wet on the outside, the sloping inward door is tricky to open without putting a puddle of water inside. Lots of room inside for two. We used an inflatable double mattress which only just squeezes through the door when inflated. I guess we should have inflated it inside the tent! For the price and speed of pitching / unhitching, it's unbeatable.
Used the tent for the first time at the weekend. By the time the wife got back from the toilet the tent was up, pegged and ready to use. It really is that easy! Plenty of room for two people with the porch on the front. Packed away in under 10 minutes with no problems, but i would recommend watching the on line video as the instructions can be a bit misleading. Overall a great buy for the price, perfect for weekends and short breaks.
This tent is excellent - I have the 400 model as well. I have had to replace my 300, as my ex now has it (Grrr)! But I would recommend this tent to anyone. It's easy to pitch, and be warned; it does require practise, to pack away... But it's easier than it looks, after a while. I am hoping it fits in the soft-top of my MG - I want to use it abroad, this year. I should imagine the 200 version is better than their original design as well, due to the porch.
I have owned one of these before (my ex now has it, mumble mumble), and I have just ordered a new one. These tents are excellent. They pitch in minutes, and once you have the knack, they are easy to put back in the bag - be warned though, they are tricky first time around. You WILL be cabaret, but it doesn't matter - they are real 'space-age' stuff, and are warm, dry and very good value for money. I also have the 400 (four-person size), as well. I can totally recommend this tent; personally, I liked to replace the original (perfectly servicable) plastic pegs with metal ones, but that's the only quibble I had. 100% recommended by me.
Quick delivery, arrived in pristine condition. The setup is quick as promised, but word of advise :), check a few online movies on how to put it back in its holder again. Otherwise the first time will only be fun for the onlookers, while you try again for the tenth time :) .
