All Salice lenses are UV400, this means they resist the transition of harmful UV rays

Single antifog lenses are coated with an antifog film that increases the antifogging properties of the lenses. They are available in different colours (refer to lens types) to guarantee the best vision in all weather conditions. Lens which cut out the blue light like the yellow, amber, brown, pink or orange lens will improve landscape definition in low light conditions.

Double lens goggles will improve the antifogging properties of the lens. The thermal insulation created by the perfectly sealed air capsule between the two lenses will increase the resistance of the lens against misting up.

The vented double lens increases further the antifogging properties of the lens. The specific air flow ducts allows the air to circulate thus allowing the lens to stay clearer. Vented lens are especially good when wearing helmets as the profile of the helmets can often restrict the air flow into the top of the goggle.

Rainbow lenses (RW) undergo a surface mirroring process to reduce light blinding and glare from water, snow and ice. The filtering power of the lenses is greatly enhanced. Mirror polycarbonate lenses (MRX) undergo a further anti-scratch process to help resist abrasions

Spherical lenses guarantee an improved distortion free peripheral vision

Salice photochromic lenses are available in yellow, orange and brown. Once activated by the sun's rays the lenses adapt according to the weather conditions. These lenses optimise the protection against dazzling light and glare, enabling the wearer to go from a foggy to a sunny area and back or from an area of shade to a brighter area and back without having to remove the goggles. CRX/Photochromic lenses allow the wearer to have one lens which will change rapidly and adapt to all weather conditions.

When light reflects on plain surfaces (water, snow, wet roads) it breaks in to horizontal and vertical vibrations which increases the strain on the eyes. New polarised POLAR FLEX lenses absorb the light and channel it in to a single direction, removing the horizontal white light which contributes to the glare. Dazzling reflections which are ten times brighter than ordinary light distort colours, change the way we estimate depth and impair our quality of vision. Salice goggles with the Polar Flex shield are especially suitable for snow: they guarantee a glare-free vision, enhance natural colours, offer complete protection from harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays and provide the user with long-lasting comfort.

New generation lens which combines the technological features of polarized and photochromic CRX lenses. The lens is double: the inner lens is polarized: it absorbs light glares and removes the dazzle; the yellow photo chromic outer lens is activated by sun lights and change its colour according to the weather conditions. The photo chromic lens passes from category S2 to S3 when the temperature is lower that 10°, from S2 to S4 when the temperature is lower than -5°. When the altitude is over 2.000mt, with UVB rays, it passes from S2 to S4 with any temperature.

Tecna lenses have been developed specifically for use at high altitudes or at sea where extreme glare and brightness can be encountered. The lenses are constructed using a three layer system. Layer 1: Mirroring, protects eyes from the enhanced glare which is generated by the sun's reflection on water and snow. Layer 2: The lens colour, various shades of yellow and brown blend together to provide increased depth perception and enhanced clarity. Layer 1 cuts the glare whilst Layer 2 is untouched and so adapts the brightness and field of vision to enhance the overall lens performance. Layer 3. A final antireflective coating is applied to the internal part of the lens, this internal coating further eliminates the glare from the sun's rays resulting in a sharper image and overall enhanced experience for the eyes.
