NEW ROBENS FURNITURE 2016

Roben Camping Chairs

Award-winning outdoor equipment manufacturer Robens® has extended its successful furniture options that match its larger tent ranges to ensure outdoor enthusiasts enjoy high levels of comfort after a hard day’s adventure. The new additions will appeal to outdoor adventurers, motorbike campers and campers looking for performance without weight or bulk penalties.

Robens Camping StoolThe popular Geographic, Discover (picture left) and Explore Stools continue to gain in popularity thanks to the combination of light weight and low bulk making them so convenient to take on outdoor adventures. These are now joined by the Geographic Stool High (picture right) that shares the light anodised aluminium frame of the Robens Camping FurnitureGeographic but opens to 33cm x 33cm x 32cm to enhance on-the-trail comfort. It weighs in at just 340g and packs down to a convenient 42cm x 7cm x 7cm – carrybag included.

Robens now extends the concept to include five new chairs, each providing high degrees of comfort and support while maintaining the relative low weight and small pack size required for active outdoor living or for activities, like motorbike and canoe touring, where space is at a premium.

The chairs comprise two styles. The Pioneer (picture left), Roben Camping SeatPathfinder and Observer have an aluminium alloy frame with tough polyester and Oxford polyester mesh seat. Each supports 120kg and the range offers a selection of seating heights and support at very low pack Roben Directors Chairweights and sizes.

The Director-style of the Settler (picture right) and Colonist chairs complement Outback and Adventure tents that offer the living space and increased headroom needed for campers to benefit from full size outdoor furniture. The higher seat heights and body support provide enhanced comfort levels thanks to the use of the Robens Fusion Frame – a mix of steel and aluminium to balance weight with strength. The frame design ensures the small packed size needed to fit smaller vehicles.

Roben Furniture CampingA range of five tables offer dining comfort and match each style of the chairs and stools. The popular Adventure Tables (pictured left) are joinedRobens Table by the Wanderer, Wayfarer S (picture right) and Wayfarer L bring a chic element into the range and the greatlooking tough bamboo tops on sturdy aluminium alloy frames are more suitable for use with larger Outback and Adventure tents when style is as an important consideration as function. The Wayfarer tables fold to half the size of equivalent tables on the market while supplying similar practical features like adjustable leg length. These are positioned to work with minimal bracing to create an ideal dining table.

Robens BedFinally, bedroom comfort has not been forgotten for a good night’s sleep is essential to any outdoor adventure. And the new lightweight Outlander camp bed (pictured left) removes the user from the cold, damp ground to improve recuperation. The bed is made from a mix of steel and aluminium alloy for high strength to weight ratio frame and features corner straps to hold a self-inflating mat in position over the ripstop polyester base for enhanced comfort and insulation. It folds down to a small pack size into its own carrybag.
