Being Lightweight its ideal to take outdoors when camping. It was easy to erect and fold away. It’s very-very low down, which is what I was wanting and also makes it useable inside a 'low' tent. The arms do help to get your body vertical again. I am 1.69m tall and this chair can support both my head and legs comfortably. I dislike outdoor chairs with a front crossbar that makes my legs go numb when resting my thighs. This chair has no such crossbar and was a key reason I considered it above others. The material, being polyester, is not going to be as strong as nylon, but given that polyester dries quicker (after it rains) together with a denier of 600D, I don't think my 67kg weight is going to be an issue with a load capacity claim of 100kg. If you are (1) a tall person or (2) over 15 stone or (3) struggle standing from a very low seated position then consider looking elsewhere, otherwise this is a great camping chair and I absolutely recommend it.
We wanted some low chairs like this for the beach, we hadn't really planned to spend quite this much money but decided to go for them anyway as we couldn't find the cheap ones that we were looking for. When we got them (very promptly as always, Thanks Camping World) we knew right away that it was a good choice these are very sturdy and well made. I'm sure they will far outlast the ones we might have bought.
Purchased to replace very old beach chairs. These feel more robust than our old ones and the fabric seems substantial albeit these are slightly heavier at 2.9kgs but its a very manageable weight (by no means heavy). Seats are a great width, comfortable and about 6inches off the ground when sat in meaning you can snuggle down with your legs out and snooze too as the seat back will support your head in that position, perfect! Also, a huge advantage of the low seat and leg arrangement means you can sit on slopes comfortably. If you're looking for a well made, reasonable weight & good priced low chair these are worth considering.

Bought for use in a crawl-in tent of max inner roof height of 130cm. Excelent for this. Very comfortable - there is no bar across the top of your back or under your knees to cause discomfort. I can go to sleep over a book! Fabric strong and well sewn. I shall soon test it on a 3 week expedition. Will the rivets hold? Great for car camping, but too heavy and bulky for back-packing.
