More heavy snow predicted across the UK

Following a milder winter period the UK looks set to plunge once again into the icy cold depths with snow already falling in parts of the country. This time the South East looks set to be the first in the firing line, with the first early snow flurries seen in West Sussex spreading across the region.

Back in November the UK saw the heaviest and earliest snowfall of recent history causing mass panick buying of socks, gloves, snow boots and wellingtons in numbers never before seen by cold weather retailers. In fact, so many of these types of products sold so quickly to customers within the UK market that the skiing community has been left without much of the necessary gear required for snow bound holidays.

Without exception retailers have struggled to keep up with domestic demand for specialist cold weather gear, and industry stock reserves are now almost completely depleted. Quick thinking retailers like Camping World have used all their experience with wholesale suppliers and manufacturers to secure remaining stock for their customers, and have limited lines available for immediate dispatch.

Industry stock levels of apres ski snow boots, kids gloves, Hunter wellingtons and thermal baselayers in particular have suffered through unprecidented demand and are only available in limited numbers until next year's stock arrives. Ski jackets and winter coats are still readily available, but re-stocking of items sold through remains an issue across the industry.

Camping World is pleased to advise that they still have a number of traditional blue plastic toboggan style sledges available
