The tent is pretty easy to erect (an hour first time but definitely will get much quicker with practise) but the instructions are sadly inadequate so a little common sense is required. (There are metal poles that feed through a high level each side after erection that are not even mentioned. The end door panel is much better when fitted in the optional inner position, leaving the outer (removable for some reason?)section as an open "porch" for cooking etc. If you put the outer door panel right at the end it will increase the inner living area but will let rain pour in every time you open it if it is windy, whereas in the inner position the living area remains totally dry. We were concerned that the fabulous amount of plastic window space would result in excess condensation, but these fears were totally unfounded, even with such non-stop wet wather. Before you budget, it is very definitely worth getting the additional footprint groundsheet and the carpet as these really do improve the whole experience. I will guarantee you will end up getting both these eventually so may as well fget them together at the outset. In summary it's a brilliant tent and it makes the comparable Outwell Arcansas 5 look very over-priced indeed. However, as would seem to be the norm with all tent manufacturers, do not kid yourself this is a five berth. Plenty of space for four but five would be much too cosy.
