We already owned the Minnesota 4. I ordered the front extension from Camping World at 4.0pm on Wednesday, it arrived 10am Friday morning. And it seems this company were the only ones in the country to actually have it in stock. Both tent and extension are excellent products, well made, sturdy and waterproof, as well as being esy to erect though you do need two people.

As well made and sturdy as the Minnesota 4 tent. Very easy to attach to the main tent and offers some shade, extra space, and complete protection from rain. Ideal cooking or sitting area.
I shall make a moveable, tent - fabric, cover, fixed with velcro, or clips, to the steel poles, to provide extra shade on any of the 'windows' as required.

I have missed out for 2 years now on getting my hands on one of these despite my best efforts they just seem to be gold dust! What were Outwell thinking keeping production numbers so low and then discontinuing the extension??? Thank you so much Camping World for getting these in again - I don't think you'll have amny problem selling out of what you've got as I know loads of people still desperate for one of these... wish you could have got them in a bit cheaper but I understand about the costs involved and to be fair would have paid twice over just to have one. Thank you again thank you thank you!!!!

What a buy. Considering the wet weather we just had on our last holiday in the Lake District. Provided that extra sheltered space giving a more outdoor feel.
Great for cooking, sitting & relaxing in. Prevents water coming into doorway when its wet conditions.Easy to erect & easy to dismantle.I would recommend this product to any camper.

I would advise anyone to purchase the extention for the Minnesota. The tent is spacious but the extension helps with that extra room for cooking eating etc.

Well worth the money I would recommend it everytime and doesn't take much room in the car, also a doddle to erect.

Thank you for your question, the side canopy will fit your Montana 12 but they dont come in a green im afraid. Thats the only thing i can recormend to fit your tent.

Does the front extension fit and match (materialwise) the Wyoming 4. Would footprint groundsheet and carpet also fit the Wyoming 4?

Hi Trevor, The Wyoming 4 is the same basic shape and design as the Minnesota so the accessories all fit, including the extension. We sell the Wyoming footprint and carpet, but the minnesota bits all fit too. All the best, Michael

Hi Paul, The Minnesota Front Extension is now gone for good I am afraid - the tent is not being made anymore and has sold through at most retailers now. The best fit you will get is the Montana 4 Canopy, but this doesn't have the sides All the best, Michael

I am looking for an extension for my Outwell Yukon River 4 - would this extension or any other by Outwell fit on to the Yukon River 4? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Mike, your tent is 315cm wide and 200cm high. You need something that is the same or slightly larger. The Lania reef is 250cm wide so far too small. Columbia River would match colour wise - however there are lots that would fit depending on how much space you want, whether you want an enclosed door or not. As long as you get something wide and tall enough you can make it work. Kind Regards CW
